Dear Logan Families,

I want to thank the Logan staff for helping students navigate and understand their community, country and world as they once again witnessed unprecedented historical events this past week. Following the riots at the Capitol last week, our staff created spaces for children to discuss the events they witnessed. They did so in developmentally appropriate ways while helping guide students’ understanding and reassuring them that Logan and their community continue be safe and welcoming places. At Logan, we remain committed to our core values. We celebrate the diversity of this community, we will continue to ensure that all voices are heard, and we strive to ensure that all people are treated with equal respect. Your support of our staff in their efforts is both necessary and appreciated.  Thank you.
