Dear Logan Families,
As we approach the end of the 2022-2023 school year, I wanted to extend my gratitude to the entire Logan community. I am so grateful to be a part of this community. Thank you to the many people who volunteered your time and energy to help make this community what it is. Special thanks to all our Logan PTSO and to all of the families who contributed to events throughout the year. Everyone’s support helps build this wonderful, caring, and connected community we have at Logan.
Thank you also to the Logan staff! We are so fortunate to have such an amazing team of professionals!

Mark your calendars! We have three back-to-school events planned.
Wednesday, August 16, 4:30-5:30 - Y5s/Kindergarten Playdate: Our newest Leopards can meet for a popsicle and some fun on the playground before school starts.
Thursday, August 24, 3:45-4:30 - New Family Orientation: Join us for a tour of Logan and an opportunity to learn about our school.
Thursday, August 24 - 4:30-5:30 - Welcome Back Meet and Greet: Meet your child’s teachers for the upcoming school year.

Staffing for 2023-2024 School year
Based on current enrollment projections, we’re anticipating some changes for next year and these changes have shifted our staffing slightly. Of course, this is all subject to change based on summer enrollment, but for now, we are planning the following:
Young 5s - one section taught by Mrs. Gore
Kindergarten - three sections taught by Ms. Ellis, Mrs. Emmer, and Mrs. Meier
First Grade - two sections taught by Mrs. Krile and Mrs. Stamper
Second Grade - two sections taught by Mrs. Rochell and Ms. G-C
Third Grade - three sections taught by Ms. Jackson, Ms. Stewart, and a new-to-Logan teacher (yet to be hired)
Fourth Grade - three sections taught by Mrs. Asher, Mrs. Fawk, and Ms. Martin
Fifth Grade - three sections taught by Ms. Boles, Mr. Totsuka, and Mrs. Wood
Technology Collection: Don’t forget!
All Y5-4 classes at Logan will be collecting devices on Wednesday, June 7. Fifth grade students will be keeping their devices. As a reminder, any student participating in an AAPS summer program will keep their devices. Please make sure your child has their AAPS issued device AND charger in school on Wednesday.
Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be coming home this week. Every student at Logan receives a yearbook. We hope you enjoy this wonderful keepsake!
Last Day of School Reminder
The last day of school is Friday, June 9. Dismissal is at 11:28 AM.
Returning Students Annual Registration
With summer on the horizon, we are working hard to prepare for the 23/24 school year.
All current students are required to complete an annual registration to confirm their return and update important contact and health information.
Families were emailed links to their individual student registrations again on June 5th. This email came from noreplyregistration@powerschool.com with the subject line DST-Pre-Registration Notification for Current Students SY 2023-2024. HINT: Check your spam folders!
