Dear Logan Families,
This will be my final Weekly Family Update for the 2023-2024 school year. Before we wrap up the year, I wanted to extend my gratitude to a number of people. First, thank you to the entire Logan staff. This exceptional group of educators continues to guide our Logan Leopards to reach their full potential. They do incredible work, and we are lucky to have each and every one of them!
Thank you to all of our Logan families and to all the people who volunteered your time and energy throughout the year. Your participation and engagement is appreciated. I want to extend a special thanks to the Logan PTSO. Throughout the year, they have organized events like the Carnival, Talent Show, Science Fair, Winter Festival, Beats and Treats, and more. They organized assemblies and supported field trips. They helped fundraise to provide classroom supplies and mini grants. All of this work help build the vibrant Logan community we have, and it enriches the education for all of our Logan Leopards. We are so grateful for the countless hours you dedicated to our school.

Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be coming home this week. Every student at Logan receives a yearbook. We hope you enjoy this wonderful keepsake!
Ann Arbor Bicentennial
In celebration of Ann Arbor's bicentennial, the City requested proposals for mural designs that recognize the past, present, and future of our community. The Bicentennial Murals Committee has selected the top three artist-submitted designs and now invites residents to decide on the final design. The mural design receiving the most votes will be painted on the basketball courts at Leslie Park and Southeast Area Park, which will be renamed Bicentennial Park this year. Please vote on your favorite design by June 28, 2024. You can vote at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/bicentennialmurals.
Second School of Choice Window Open
A second School of Choice (SOC) window is now open. Applications are being accepted until June 27. SOC is for families that live outside the boundaries of the Ann Arbor Public Schools but would like to attend school in the Ann Arbor District. More information can be found here.
