Dear Logan Families,
There was lots of excitement at Logan last week! On Wednesday, Omar Mohamed, author of When Stars Are Scattered, joined our fourth and fifth-grade classes to share insights about his book, which is inspired by his experiences growing up in a refugee camp in Kenya.
The AAPS Fire Department visited our Y5, kindergarten, and first-grade classes to teach fire safety practices.
And, of course, our Beats and Treats celebration on Thursday night was a huge success! Many thanks to our PTSO for organizing such a fun event.

Early Release Reminder
Thursday, October 31, 2024 is an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 1:00pm. All families must ensure that they have a plan for their children at the end of the day on early release days. There is no aftercare on Early Release Days.
New AAPS and Logan Website
Last Friday, AAPS began migrating the a2schools.org and Logan websites to a new platform, which means Logan now has a new web address. Please bookmark the updated site for easy access in the future.
The existing platform is no longer supported and will be phased out, so these changes were necessary. While there are some changes in appearance that may take getting used to, we did not make any major changes to the website content. Some links still need to be reset and a few other features will require some additional work. Thank you for your patience as our IT department continues to do this work.
