Thank You to the Logan Community!
This is the mural currently hanging in our hallway. Each of the hands has a word of gratitude to all of our volunteers and community members who have made this year such a success. I am especially grateful to our Logan PTSO. Even as we navigated the pandemic, our PTSO successfully held a welcome back event for new families, the Beats and Treats Party, the Family Traditions and Heritage Festival, and the Spring Carnival. As soon as field trips were approved again, they funded a field trip for every classroom that could still fit one in. They purchased classroom supplies and funded mini grants in many of our classrooms. They spearheaded a capital improvement project that resulted in a storage shed full of recess supplies on the upper elementary playground and a closet full of supplies on the lower elementary playground. Our partnership with the PTSO is such an important part of our school community. Their support helps build the wonderful, caring, and connected community we have at Logan. Thank to every member of our PTSO for your support and hard work this year! And thank you to our entire Logan community for supporting donating to our PTSO! None of this would be possible without the support of our generous Logan community as well. Thank you!
I also want to offer my thanks to the many other families who supported our school in countless other ways. From volunteering for events, volunteering in the lunchroom, helping out in the library, and more! Your support was invaluable.
Logan Folders Advertising
Every Year, we provide Logan folders to our students. The company that makes these folders provides them to us free of charge. They cover the cost of producing them by including advertising on the inside of the folders. This year, they have not sold enough ads to provide us with folders next year. If any family has a business they’d like to advertise, please contact Director of Sales, Bob Lundwall, at lundwallbob@gmail.com. Feel free to reach out to me as well if you have any questions. Thanks!Staffing For Next Year
Logan’s staff will remain very stable next year. At this time, we are anticipating only one change. Jennifer Neesam will be taking leave of absence to stay at home with her new baby. We wish her the very best in this new adventure. Over the summer, we will work to fill her position.
Below is our best thinking about projected staffing for next year. We will continue to monitor student enrollment, class sizes, and staffing throughout the summer. Class lists will be sent out the week prior to the start of school.
Young Fives: Gore
Kindergarten:, Bloor & Meier
1st Grade: Ellis, Krile, & Stamper
2nd Grade: Babcock, Gallo-Chasanoff, & Rochell
3rd Grade: Jackson, Stewart, & Wood

Spread the word! If you know a new family to our community, please tell them to join us for our New Family Orientation right before the Welcome Back Meet and Greet.
