Half-Day Reminder

Friday, May 19 will be a half day of school for elementary students. Dismissal will be at 11:28 AM. Please note that the dismissal time for half-days is earlier than dismissal times for early release days. Bag lunches will be available to any student who wants lunch.

4th Annual Newcomer Family Resource Fair

Recently arrived AAPS Multilingual Families are invited to the 4th Annual Newcomer Family Resource Fair on Tuesday, May 16, 5:30-7:00 at Pioneer High School. Join the AAPS team for free food, information on community services, and tips to support your children.

Lunchroom Volunteers Needed

We have several members of our lunchroom staff who will be absent for several weeks in May and June. We are hoping to recruit volunteers to help fill in during their absence. If you are able to help, please email loganeventvolunteers@gmail.com

School of Choice Window Open

AAPS’s School of Choice window is now open. It will be open until May 31, 2023. If you live outside of AAPS’s attendance boundaries, and if you have a new student to enroll or you have moved and now live outside of the AAPS attendance boundary, please apply by clicking here. Please click here for application instructions and spaces available at each building. Please note that not all grade levels will be open at Logan next year. If you have any questions about enrolling students in AAPS, please contact our enrollment office at enroll@a2schools.org or Mrs. Landefeld at landefeldc@aaps.k12.mi.us

Get Involved with the Logan PTO

Have you loved events like the Family Traditions and Heritage Festival, Beats and Treats, or Logan’s Winter Fest at Buhr Park? These events and many others are all made possible by the Logan PTSO, and they would not happen without dedicated volunteers. If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to have you!  We are seeking volunteers to serve on the PTSO board for the 2023-2024 school year. Check out the survey linked here to express interest in volunteering for a role(s) on the Logan Elementary PTSO 2023-24 Board.

Community Rec & Ed Afterschool Survey

Community Education & Recreation (Rec & Ed) will soon begin planning programs for Fall 2023 and beyond. We are kindly asking you to take a 1-2 minute survey to let us know what types of afterschool classes you'd like to see offered at your child's school in the 2023/2024 school year. Once the survey has closed, we will analyze the responses and attempt to schedule our afterschool classes based on interest and need.

This survey will remain open until Friday, June 2nd. If you have more than one child, please fill out a separate survey for each. Thank you in advance for your participation!
