We’re Hiring: Become a Lunchroom Supervisor!
We are looking for more people to work in our lunchroom as lunchroom supervisors. This is a paid, hourly position. Lunchroom staff work two hours per day supervising during lunch and recess. It’s a great way to spend some time with the kids during the day. Even if you can’t work five days per week, we’re still interested in talking to you! If you’re interested in learning more about this position, please contact Mr. Wright.
Driveline and Dismissal
Driveline numbers were sent out Friday, and new families will receive a hangtag today with your Driveline number. Returning families can use the same hangtag from last year. Driveline is a dismissal program we use at Logan to ensure a safe dismissal. We ask all families to read through our dismissal procedures in the Logan Family Handbook. A few key reminders:
Buses park next to the lower elementary playground. Parents should NOT enter the back parking lot. Car drop off or pick up in the back parking lot is not permitted.
Parents picking up can wait in the car line. If you wait in the car line, you MUST stay in your car. If you wish to meet your child at their classroom, you must park in the Logan parking lot or in the street on Traver Blvd.
Parents waiting in the car line should pull all the way forward. Keep pulling forward as cars in front of you exit. Do not leave space in front of you so we can fit as many cars in the pick up line as possible. Do not load until you reach the front steps.
Only cross in the crosswalk and wait for our staff to stop the cars before crossing. Please do not walk between cars.
Remember, right turn only when exiting Logan. AAPD does patrol the area and we don’t want anyone getting a ticket.
BE PATIENT! Our priority is safety. Our staff are there to help ensure a smooth and safe dismissal. Please listen to them.
