Dear Logan Families,

I hope you have had a great long weekend. We had a fantastic first week back at school, and we’re looking forward to welcoming your kids back to school for week two! On Thursday, we hosted our welcome back assembly. As is our tradition, we greeted the students in the many languages spoken in our community including Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Italian, French, German, Spanish, and American Sign Language. After our greeting, I read a book to the students and each staff member introduced themselves to the kids. We concluded our assembly with our annual flag raising ceremony led by two fifth graders.

In this Weekly Update, I’ve included information about:

  • We’re Hiring: Become a Lunchroom Supervisor!

  • Curriculum Night Details

  • Volunteering at Logan

  • Fall After-School Classes at Logan

  • The City of Ann Arbor Public Works Open House

  • Important Upcoming Dates

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. And don’t forget to visit the PTSO eBackpack blog linked in the Useful Links section!

Will Wright
