Family Traditions and Heritage Festival — This Friday!

You're invited! Join us this Friday, April 17th, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Multipurpose Room/Gym for our Logan Family Traditions and Heritage Festival! This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and honor our multicultural identity as a school community, our heritages, and our family traditions through sharing our favorite meal together.

There's still time to sign up to bring a dish! Whether it's a favorite family recipe or a special dish from your culture, we'd love to have you contribute. Please include a list of allergens with your dish. You can sign up using our Sign Up Genius link here. If you need an allergen template, you can find it here.

Come ready for food, games, music, and dancing! The food goes quickly, so arrive early to get the best selection. This free event is open to all Logan families. Everyone is welcome! Dishes can be dropped off in the multi-purpose room between 5:30 PM–6:00 PM on the day of the event.

We can't wait to celebrate together! 🎉

Attention, Attention! Rec and Ed is happy to announce that registration will be open for AM and PM care for Fall 2026.  Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 13 at 10am to register your student(s) for the AM and PM program!

Scholarship opportunities are available to qualified families and applications will open on May 1. Please call 734-994-2300 ext 53253 or email aapschildcare@aaps.k12.mi.us for questions! We look forward to seeing your students in the Fall!

PTO Council $30 for 30k Fundraiser

The PTO Council is halfway to their goal for their 2026 $30 for 30k fundraiser! We need your help to get them over the finish line!

PTO income varies across elementary schools in the district with a range of $87 per student per year to $245 per student per year. PTO income tends to be higher at schools with fewer economically disadvantaged students and at less diverse schools, compounding inequity for AAPS students and families. Please consider donating $30 (or more) to help increase Ann Arbor Title I schools’ per pupil spending. If you can’t donate at this time, help spread the word about the fundraiser in our community. Join the effort to create equitable educational opportunities for every child in Ann Arbor!

Friday Folder Advertising

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we begin preparing for the 2026–2027 school year, we want to share an important need regarding our school “take-home” folders. Due to increasing printing costs, we must secure additional advertising to ensure these folders remain available for all students.

Before we look ahead, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to last year’s sponsors. Your support played a vital role in making these folders possible, and we truly appreciate your generosity and commitment to our school community.

We are now reaching out to ask for your help once again. Do you, or someone you know, own or work for a business that might be interested in advertising in our school folders?

Advertising in our folders is a great way to promote a business while directly supporting our students. School affiliated businesses wishing to advertise can do so for $350.00. Parents also have the option to be recognized through a personal sponsorship for just $75.

For more information or to reserve an ad, please contact Bob Lundwall (National School Folders) at 586-405-1144 or email lundwallbob@gmail.com.

Thank you for helping us continue this valuable resource for our students!
