Dear Logan Families,

I only have a few announcements this week. In this Weekly Update, I’ve included information about:

Tentative Materials Distribution Day

Mark your calendars! We are tentatively planning to host another distribution day on Thursday, February 25 starting at 4:00pm. Please reserve the time and date on your calendars. Logan teachers are working to determine what, if any, materials need to be distributed. I’ll share more details about the distribution in the coming days. We also hope to have our tables out again to distribute books (See below).


Book Donations for Upcoming Distribution

We are preparing for another distribution day at Logan. As part of that distribution, we’d like to host another book exchange. We will leave the book donation box outside the building. Please go through your children’s books and consider donating them for another Logan Leopard to enjoy. You can even donate books that you picked up in the fall at our last book exchange! More details on the distribution day to come.


Update Your Contact Information

Have you recently moved? Has your phone number or email changed in the last year? As we begin preparing for next school year, it’s important that the Logan office has your current address, phone number, and email on file. Please contact Christy Landefeld at landefeldc@aaps.k12.mi.us  if you need to update your contact information. 


Nominate an Excellent Logan Teacher

There is still time! Nominations are now open for the AAPS Excellence in Virtual Instruction Award, and we have some exceptional teachers at Logan. Sponsored by Google, the award recognizes exceptional AAPS educators during this challenging year. If you think your child’s teacher has done exceptional work during this time of virtual instruction, please consider nominating them for this honor. To learn more about the award and nominate an educator by February 16th at 5 PM, click here. Deadline for Nominations: February 16th, 2021 at 5pm.
