Two Minutes at Logan

Logan was featured in the AAPS Two Minutes At series. If you didn’t see Dr. Swift's email or the video on Facebook and Twitter, here’s a link. Enjoy! It’s great to be a Logan Leopard!

Reminder: Bus Route Suspension Information

Starting Monday, March 14, 2022, Bus 110 will resume regular service.

Starting Monday, March 14, 2022 through Friday, April 8, 2022, Bus 148 will be suspended. Families of students on these suspended routes will have to find alternate transportation to and from school.

Girls on the Run Team at Logan

Dream it! Do it! Be it! By using a research-based curriculum that creatively integrates physical activity with valuable life lessons, Girls on the Run empowers girls to develop the confidence and character they need to become strong, healthy leaders in our community. Logan's Girls on the Run Spring 2022 program will have practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30pm beginning April 5th and running through the end of May and will be coached by five volunteer coaches, four of whom are Logan parents. All 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade girls are invited to join the team and run with us as we learn how far we can go! Register your daughter at https://www.girlsontherunsemi.org/Register-Now before April 1st (we can have a maximum of 20 girls on our team). Program cost is $185 and includes 8 weeks of training, a t-shirt, water bottle, cinch sack, journal, a beautiful 5K medal and a celebratory 5K event. If you are interested in having your daughter join but cannot afford the registration cost, please contact Mr. Wright. For questions please email kristen.muehlhauser@yahoo.com or simonao@umich.edu

Reminder: Volunteers at Logan

We are thrilled to welcome our parents and community members back at Logan! In order to volunteer at Logan, AAPS will require:

  1. a submitted and cleared volunteer background check form

  2. proof of full COVID-19 vaccination

  3. all volunteers shall watch a short orientation video that highlights AAPS health and safety protocols including our COVID mitigation measures. Please note that at this time, all volunteers must wear a mask while in the building.

To assist with these steps, all volunteers should complete this form. The information provided will allow us to run your background check, document your proof of vaccination, and ensure volunteers have watched our orientation video.
