  • 6:30–6:55: Classroom presentations (second session)

  • 7:00–7:30: Whole-school meeting in cafeteria

Logan's Fun Run Fundraiser starts today!

Each fall, Logan participates in the Fun Run, a fundraising event that helps raise enough money for the PTSO to provide events, learning opportunities, and enrichments throughout the year. For the next few weeks, we will be asking each family to give what they can to help us reach our school goal of $24K. On October 8, we will celebrate our success with the outdoor Fun Run event, featuring Kona Ice and a DJ.

Please get started by following the steps below. Each child will get a water bottle sticker just for registering!

  1. Register or log in to your Parent Dashboard and customize your student's page: Scan the QR code below or visit www.getmovinfundhub.com

| School Identifier: 5d31e6ebc738c

  1. Make a donation to help your child (and their classroom) reach their individual goals! Final donation date is Oct 17, 2025! Children who reach their goal of $75 will earn an additional prize of a backpack charm.

  2. Share your child's page with friends and family! Text, email, or post on social media – you can do it right from your phone. This makes the biggest impact!

A big thank you for our community sponsors - Edwards and Schaefer Orthodontics, SBK Orthodontics, Gordon Meemic Insurance, and Hierank Marketing Solutions!

Social Media Posts While Volunteering at Logan

We are so grateful to everyone who has been volunteering at Logan. I wanted to send a quick reminder about the use of social media while volunteering. While we love that you capture special moments at school, please be mindful of student and family privacy. If you post photos on social media, make sure that only your own child is featured, unless you have permission from other families to share their children’s images. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe and respectful!

Discontinuing Universal Free Meals

As of October 1, 2025, AAPS will no longer be able to provide universal free meals for all students if the state aid budget is not passed or is passed without universal breakfast and lunch funding.  Please know that this difficult decision was not made lightly. We remain hopeful that state legislators will soon pass a budget that includes the Michigan School Meals program—maintaining free breakfast and lunch for all students.

All AAPS families are strongly encouraged to complete the annual Education Benefit Form (EBF) to ensure that all free and reduced-price lunch eligible students are identified. The form can be completed electronically in the AAPS Family Portal, which you can log into here. Hard copies of the Education Benefit Form are available in your school office.

Please review the full message on this food service change here.

WISD Countywide CTE Millage

On November 4, 2025, voters residing within the Washtenaw Intermediate School District’s service area will be asked to consider a 1 mill tax that would support the expansion of Career Technical Education (CTE) learning experiences from preschool through high school graduation.

CTE helps students understand why they learn what they learn from PreK-12, and it opens doors to college, careers and beyond.

If a CTE millage is approved by voters in November, students in preschool, elementary, middle and high school would benefit from new programs and expansion of existing programs. Washtenaw County’s CTE framework would span from PreK-12, with age-appropriate experiences that build on each other as students grow and learn.

To learn more about the proposal, visit www.washtenawisd.org/ctemillage. The WISD is hosting community information sessions
