Welcome back, Logan families! I hope everyone had a great Fall Break! In case you missed it, two Logan teachers were recently featured in the AAPS District News for their outstanding work: Suzanne Vu, our English Learner (EL) teacher and Maia Gleason-Teener, our school social worker. Logan Fun Run Success!
Our annual Logan Fun Run was an incredible success! Thanks to the amazing generosity of our families and community, we raised around $30,000, well beyond our original goal of $24,000! (We’re still waiting on the final total.) This support directly impacts every Logan student by funding field trips, free family events like Beats and Treats, Winterfest, Family Traditions and Heritage Festival, the Talent Show, and the Spring Carnival, providing funding for mini-grant projects for teachers to pursue enrichment opportunities for students, bringing assemblies to school, providing classroom supplies and so much more. The Fun Run itself was a wonderful day with perfect weather, great music, and so many smiling faces as students ran, laughed, and cheered each other on! Thank you again to our PTSO, volunteers, and all the families who helped make this year’s Fun Run such a joyful and successful event!
Congratulations to our Academic Games Team!
Congratulations to our Logan-Thurston Academic Games Team! We competed in our first Saturday tournament of the 2025-2026 season. We came in THIRD PLACE for Team Average and FIRST PLACE for Top Five in our Region!! Yay!!!

Hand Sanitizer Bottle Donations Still Needed
AAPS is no longer providing hand sanitizer bottles to schools, and we like to keep a supply on hand in classrooms and common areas. If you’re able, please consider donating a large pump-style bottle of hand sanitizer to help us restock. Donations can be sent in with your child or dropped off in the main office. Thank you for helping us keep everyone healthy this fall!
